Our company, conducting intensive research into the implementation of UV-C technology, was fully aware of the risks and determined to improve the performance of disinfection technology. INNOVATION FOR A BETTER WORLD - Technology as a solution
Healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and surgical site infections (SSIs) are some of the biggest global public sector challenges of today.
“It is estimated that around 4,100,000 patients develop healthcare associated infections in the EU each year. The number of deaths as a direct consequence of these infections is estimated to be at least 37,000, and these infections are thought to contribute to an additional 110,000 deaths each year(1)”. “In Germany, by contrast, between 400,000 and 600,000 patients succumb to nosocomial infections each year; 10,000 to 15,000 of these patients die(2)”.These infections cause significant morbidity and mortality. This fact puts incredible pressure on healthcare systems, as it results in direct and indirect costs rising at an alarming rate.
Our support of the medical and commercial sectors by spreading the Biosafety concept aims to solve these problems by preventing, detecting, monitoring and managing infections.

On 11 March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that the COVID-19 outbreak could be described as a pandemic.
